Our client, a respected global governing, is seeking an Events Manager

The Events Manager is responsible for managing the planning, development, and delivery of high-quality events and exhibitions for our members and industry partners, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Manage and deliver all global events and exhibitions run by our HQ, ensuring they meet objectives and budgets.
Support our Branches and Divisions in delivering their events and exhibitions as required.
Assist the Head of Events and Strategic Partnerships in assessing and triaging new event opportunities to ensure return on investment.
Work closely with the Strategic Partnerships Manager to identify and source relevant sponsors and partners for events.
Source and manage all event vendors, including venues, catering, audiovisual (AV), and other suppliers, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and contract compliance.
Develop and coordinate event programmes, working closely with the conference committees to prepare briefs, take accurate minutes, and manage follow-up actions.
Manage speaker liaison, abstract submissions, and scheduling, ensuring a smooth process from invitation to delivery.
Ensure timely and professional communication with all stakeholders, including partners, sponsors, speakers, and attendees.
Effectively use event management platforms and systems, CRM tools, and the website to support event delivery.
Support the implementation of effective events marketing strategies in collaboration with the Head of Events and Strategic Partnerships.
Travel to on-site inspections, manage event logistics, and complete appropriate risk assessments.
Ensure Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) compliance across all events.
Manage events and exhibitions budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and value.
Provide sufficient schedule and time management when leading multi-discipline projects.
Provide regular progress reports on events and exhibitions to the Head of Events and Strategic Partnerships.
Become a key member of the Membership Experience Team.
Work closely with the Senior Management Team to support the implementation of strategic initiatives across Events and Exhibitions.
Work closely with all teams to align sales strategies with content and promotional efforts.
Work closely with the Marketing Team to ensure effective communication between Members, Industry Partners, and internal stakeholders.
Liaise with the Strategic Partnerships Manager to ensure partner involvement enhances event quality and value.
Provide support to the Head of Events and Strategic Partnerships as required.
Proven ability to work proactively and independently as a confident self-starter.
Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to high standards.
Excellent organisational, marketing, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
